Federal Supreme Court Takes Note of Mootness in Tenancy Appeal The situation involved a civil appeal concerning a tenancy agreement, where the appellant filed a recourse with the Federal Supreme Court against a decision of the Cantonal Court of Vaud. The Federal Supreme Court ruled to take note of the appellant's notification of February 24, 2025, stating that the proceedings had become moot and withdrawing the recourse. Consequently, the court ordered the striking of the case from the docket and charged the appellant a reduced judicial fee of CHF 200, finding that a full waiver of costs was not justified, and declined to award costs to the respondents as they had not been requested to submit a response.
