The case involves a dispute over the initial rent of a three-and-a-half-room apartment that the applicants rented in a Swiss municipality. They initially sought to contest the rent in September 2013, but their claim was rejected in November 2014, a decision later upheld by the appellate court. The Federal Tribunal intervened in July 2017, overturning the prior ruling and remanding the case for further examination. In January 2018, the appellate court annulled the previous judgment and referred the case back to the rental tribunal. The applicants subsequently challenged the remand ruling, asserting that the appellate court's directions contradicted the Federal Tribunal's earlier decision, but the Federal Tribunal deemed their appeal inadmissible, noting it did not pose an imminent irreparable harm and rejected their request for judicial assistance due to the lack of merit in their claims.

Objet
