Bidder Fails to Notify Regarding Appeal; Contract Execution Renders Case Moot
Legislator-Zusammenfassung
KI-generiertIn a legal case involving a construction contract for the air conditioning installation at a museum, one company contested a decision by the City of Geneva, which had awarded the contract to another company. The contesting company sought to have the decision stayed but did not inform the City of its intention to appeal in a timely manner. Subsequently, the contract was signed without the contesting company being notified. Ultimately, the contesting company filed a constitutional appeal but later declared that the appeal was moot due to the contract's execution, requesting to withdraw the case without incurring costs. The court decided to remove the case from its docket without any fees or expenses.
