Nigerian National v. Cantonal Court (Pre-Deportation Detention)
Legislator-Zusammenfassung
KI-generiertThe case involves an individual from Nigeria, born in 1974, who was placed in detention by the Service of Population and Migrations of the canton of Valais in Switzerland with the intent of deportation. This decision, dated October 26, 2020, was upheld by the single judge of the Public Law Court of the Cantonal Tribunal of Valais on October 28, 2020. The individual challenged this ruling by submitting an appeal to the Swiss Federal Tribunal on November 27, 2020, arguing against the legality of the detention decision. However, the appeal did not effectively state in what way the original judgment was unlawful, merely presenting personal circumstances not acknowledged by the previous authority, which led to the appeal being considered inadmissible.

Objet
