The case involved a group of individuals who filed an appeal against a decision made by the cantonal court regarding their work authorization. On October 13, 2014, they submitted a public law appeal to contest the ruling from September 10, 2014, which had denied their request for work permits. However, on December 2, 2014, their legal representative communicated a withdrawal of the appeal to both the cantonal court and the federal tribunal, leading to the federal tribunal acknowledging the withdrawal and consequently removing the case from the court's active list without imposing any judicial costs.
