Legislator-Zusammenfassung

The case involves a foreign national who sought exemption from migration limitations imposed by the federal migration authority in Switzerland. The individual, a national from Ecuador, had their request for exemption denied, prompting an appeal to the Federal Administrative Court, which upheld the original decision. Subsequently, the individual filed a public law appeal to the Federal Tribunal, seeking to overturn the lower court's ruling. However, the Federal Tribunal noted that the appeal was inadmissible because it did not pertain to the granting of a residence permit but rather to a derogation from admission conditions, leading to the conclusion that the appeal was manifestly inadmissible under the specific legal provisions cited.

Arrêt du 11 février 2010

IIe Cour de droit public

Composition

M. le Juge Müller, Président.

Greffière: Mme Charif Feller.

Parties

X.________, recourant,

contre

Office fédéral des migrations, Quellenweg 6. 3003 Berne.

Objet
