The case involves a Kosovo national who challenged the refusal to extend their residence permit following the dissolution of their marriage to a Swiss citizen. The Geneva Court of Justice had previously rejected the individual's appeal against the cantonal population office's decision and a subsequent administrative review. The individual subsequently filed a public law appeal to the Swiss Federal Tribunal, contesting the previous decision and claiming violations of specific laws pertaining to residence rights. However, it was determined that the appeal was inadmissible, as the individual could not establish any substantive rights under federal or international law, leading to the conclusion that they were ineligible for the residence permit extension.

Arrêt du 16 mai 2011

IIe Cour de droit public

Composition

M. le Juge Zünd, Président.

Greffier: M. Dubey.

Participants à la procédure

X.________,

représenté par Me André Malek-Asghar, avocat,

recourant,

contre
