Withdrawal of Appeal Against Refusal to Issue Identity Certificate/Re-entry Visa
Legislator-Zusammenfassung
KI-generiertThe case involves an individual who, a Somali national, was granted provisional admission in Switzerland in 1993 after his asylum application was rejected and deportation was deemed impossible. In February 2007, the federal migration office denied his application for an identity certificate and return visa. This decision was upheld by the Federal Administrative Court in April 2008, prompting the individual to file a public law appeal with the Federal Tribunal in May 2008. However, he subsequently withdrew his appeal in June 2008, leading to the tribunal officially acknowledging the withdrawal and terminating the proceedings without imposing judicial costs.
