Legislator-Zusammenfassung

The case involves an individual seeking the reexamination of a previous refusal for a residence permit by a cantonal population service, which had been upheld by a cantonal administrative court. The individual, who has been residing and working illegally in the country since 1988, submitted public law and constitutional appeals to the federal tribunal against the decision made on June 6, 2007. However, the federal tribunal found the appeals inadmissible, citing that the individual could not invoke any federal or international legal provisions granting entitlement to a residence permit. The tribunal concluded that both types of appeals were manifestly inadmissible due to insufficient legal grounds.

Arrêt du 9 août 2007

IIe Cour de droit public

Composition

M. le Juge Merkli, Président.

Greffière: Mme Charif Feller.

Parties

X.________,

recourant,

contre
