In this case, a party filed a legal appeal to the Swiss Federal Tribunal challenging a decision made by the Ticino Administrative Court regarding a building permit on July 16, 2008. However, on August 28, 2008, the appellant officially withdrew the appeal, prompting the tribunal to consider this withdrawal and decide on the administrative aspects, including the potential waiving of court fees. Consequently, the case was dismissed from the court's active docket due to the withdrawal of the appeal, with no judicial costs imposed.
