The case involves a preliminary criminal procedure against an individual for violations related to drug laws. The central public prosecutor of the canton requested a retroactive surveillance of two telephone connections used by the accused for six months prior to a specific order. An initial decision allowed this surveillance but limited its scope concerning potential cannabis trafficking. The central public prosecutor subsequently filed an appeal against this decision, seeking to extend the surveillance's applicability. However, the prosecutor later withdrew the appeal, leading to its dismissal and the case being removed from the court's agenda without any judicial costs incurred.
