Court holds excise security obligation falls only on recognized entrepôt holder, not customs declarant.
Synthèse Legislator
Généré par l'IAThe court ruled that the obligation to provide excise security under Article 20 applies exclusively to the recognized entrepôt holder. The customs declarant argued they should bear this responsibility, but the court found no legal basis for such an extension. Consequently, the court determined that the duty rests solely on the entrepôt holder based on the interpretation of Articles 13 and 20.
